Digital Graphics & Web Design Certificate
Zarem/Golde ORT Technical Institue offers an extensive Digital Graphics & Web Design program which covers most major graphic and web applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver and Flash. Graphic design is an essential program for creative individuals who wish to work in today’s design industry.
Students at Zarem/Golde ORT Technical Institute learn in state-of-the-art computer laboratories and are taught by experienced instructors familiar with the design industry. Furthermore, available to all graphic design students are modern labs, equipped with fully integrated networking, high-speed Internet, and updated professional software.
Students will study web design in conjunction with graphic and visual communications courses, which will give them the extra edge necessary to create modern, high-tech web sites and web development projects.
Credits obtained by students while in the Digital Graphics & Web Design Certificate program may be transferable to two-year and/or four-year programs at other colleges and universities worldwide. In order to earn the Digital Graphics & Web Design Certificate at Zarem/Golde ORT Technical Institute, a student must complete 36 credits.
The Digital Graphics and Web Design program prepares the students for entry level employment in the graphic design, digital graphics and web design/animation fields. In addition to print layout and production, digital photography, image editing and branding/advertising concepts, introductory web design and animation courses round out this intensive course of training.

Admission Requirements: |
Students must be high school graduates or the equivalent, obtain passing scores on the school's entrance examination including an English and Math competency exam. For those who are not able to demonstrate the required level of competency, we offer remedial courses in Math and English reading and composition. Prospective students will also be interviewed by the Admissions Department. Class size is limited to one student per computer. Average class size is 12 students but no more than 15. |

A student who successfully completes this program is qualified for an entry-level position in the Graphic and Web Design industry. The successful graduate of this program may be hired by a business in the creative field (design, advertising), or by any business that employs their own (“in-house”) design or creative team.
