CAREER SERVICES SPECIALIST:

The Career Services Specialist is responsible for establishing and maintaining employer contacts, assisting students and graduates with employment searches, seeking out new venues for student placement, and tracking of completion and placement rates. The position also includes coordinating job placement workshops.

The position requires excellent communication skills and a minimum bachelor’s degree in a related field. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in career services or job placement and must be familiar with the Chicagoland employment market. Due to the ethnically diverse population that we serve, fluency in one or more foreign language is preferred.

ESL INSTRUCTORS:

ORT Technical Institute in Skokie is seeking part-time ESL instructors. Classes are held weekday mornings M-F and weekday evenings M-Th, with additional opportunities in our Learning Resource Center and new afternoon classes. We are looking for instructors with a minimum of a BA and/or an MA in TESOL or related fields, and experience teaching ESL to adults.
