The Chicago Computer Graphics and Desktop Publishing program prepares you for entry level employment in the graphic design, digital graphics and web design/animation fields. In addition to print layout and production, digital photography, image editing and branding/advertising concepts, introductory web design and animation courses round out this intensive course of training. ORT graduates may be hired by any business engaged in marketing, business development, publishing and communications from advertising agencies to print/on-line publishers.

Our students train on the modern equipment as well as standard software programs used in the industry. You will be assigned a high-performance computer with a quality digital display and have access to superior scanners and printers.

ORT’s Computer Graphics, Desktop Publishing, and Web Design Program students must be high school graduates or equivalent, passing the school's entrance exam and be interviewed by the Admissions Department. Class size is limited to one student per computer and you will be trained on software and equipment that is standard in your field.  Our small average class size of 12 students promotes increased learning speed, retention and personal teacher attention. The program is taught 5 hours per day, 4 days per week, or 20 hours per week for 35 weeks. The evening classes are taught 4.5 hours per each session four times a week or 18 hours per week 40 weeks.
